Termination/Dummy Load
RF circuit components or devices are mainly used to protect the system from consuming active component emission energy.
信號終端是指在傳輸線的開始處及末端加上終端器，以避免射頻訊號到達末端後反射，造成干擾或是功率損失。終端器一般會放在傳輸線的末端，其阻抗會匹配線材的特性阻抗，讓信號反射和功率損失降到最小。
射頻電流會在線纜的不連續處（例如連接器及接頭處）反射，並且反射到信號的發射端，造成第一反射訊號。多次反射訊號一般會出現在線纜的頭部，會反射舊的訊號，使干擾持續存在。這些反射會讓訊號無法完整的傳送到目的方。
Signal termination refers to adding terminators at the beginning and end of the transmission line to prevent the RF signal from being reflected after reaching the end, causing interference or power loss. The terminator is generally placed at the end of the transmission line, and its impedance will match the characteristic impedance of the wire to minimize signal reflection and power loss.
The RF current will be reflected at the discontinuities of the cable (such as connectors and joints), and reflected to the transmitting end of the signal, resulting in the first reflected signal. Multiple reflections usually occur at the head of the cable, reflecting old signals and causing interference to persist. These reflections will prevent the signal from being completely transmitted to the destination.
