RF Repeater作為 BTS 和光纖中繼器主控單元之間的中繼器工作。它通過施主天線從 BTS 接收最強信號，對信號進行線性放大，然後通過室內光纖中繼器系統將其轉發到弱/盲覆蓋區域。並且移動信號也被放大並通過相反的方向重傳到BTS。

The repeater is working as a relay between the BTS and Fiber Repeater Master Unit. It picks up the strongest signal from BTS via the Donor Antenna, linearly amplifies the signal and then retransmits it via the Indoor Fiber Repeater System to the weak/blind coverage area. And the mobile signal is also amplified and retransmitted to the BTS via the opposite direction.
